How to Use: Add to the oil phase of the formula. Heat to 105°C–110°C (212–230°F) until fully melted. For stick products, it is imperative to work quickly when using this material. Pour into heat-resistant packaging at around 95–100°C (203–212°F). If pigments, micas, or glitter are used, pour between 90°C–95°C (194–203°F) while stirring to ensure that they stay suspended in the product and do not settle (this can also depend on the particle size).
Recommended Usage Rate: 5-25% for oil gelling. 90-100% for solid sticks. Additional waxes such as polyamide-3 or polyamide-8 can be added for a harder stick to substitute for a lesser amount.
