| D | 1% | Euxyl PE 9010 (INCI: Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin) |
Method:
| 1. Combine Phase A to hydrate and form a slurry. |
| 2. Add Phase A to Phase B and mix until homogeneous. Heat to 80°C. |
| 3. Do not heat Phase C. Add Phase C ingredients to the heated Phase A/B. Mix at low shear until a glossy, homogeneous emulsion forms. Continue stirring until the product cools to 40°C. |
| 4. Add Phase D to Phase A/B/C and mix thoroughly. |
| 5. At 25°C, check/adjust pH. |
| Final pH required: 4-4.5 |
